I did my thyroid test and got a tsh result of 4.53 is it normal?

My age is 18, height is 173cm and my weight is 198 pounds. I tried a limited 900 calories diet but it didn't affect my weight and also I started walking 1.8 miles daily and some exercise for a month but it had no effect. Do I need to take levothyroxine or change my diet? I wanna look fit and handsome, so please suggest me what should I do.

I am a personal trainer and nutritionist, specializing in weight loss. No, its perfectly fine as its normal range is 0.5 to 5.5.Try high intensity interval training instead of just walk and see the difference in some weeks :)"best of luck, and let me know how you get on!"

  • It should be around .01.... so, you are in need of further testing and perhaps medication. Try Iodine, or kelp to support the thyroid. A good site is Curezone and go to the Iodine Support Forum. Eat a low carb diet.

Will rollerblading help me lose weight? I plan on doing 2 hours a day?

I've heard you can burn from 300-1000 calories rollerblading and it's less impact than running. Do you think this will help me lose weight?

How to Lose Weight Quickly

Recommended Answer:

Just like an hour rollerblading is 600+ calories burned. 2 hours is way too much. To lose weight you have to eat a deficit of 500 calories per day through both diet AND exercise. Therefore, each day eating 250 calories less, and exercising 250 calories off is sufficient. Find out what your BMR is and make sure that including exercise and the deficit out of your diet, you are still eating up to your BMR, otherwise you will be starving your body and you will begin to store fat, not lose it.

Other Answers:

  • Yes it's cardio.
  • Sure! Look at figure skaters. They all have lean mean bodies.
  • Most definitely
  • It might with eating healthy and making sure to drink only water I say it would help loose weight but after a while I would try something harder because your body might get use to you rollerblading and you may not see results as much.
