I'm a girl but I have a lot of guy characteristics... Should I be concerned?

I'm kinda scared about this, and embarrassed. I'm a 19 year old female. Growing up, English was my worse subject and I used to be great in math. I love to play video games, even computer games. I also have a fast metabolism, and I lose weight easily. And now I'm 19 and I'm starting to get hair on my stomach area, neck area, and sideburns :(. And it's very noticeable, though I'm getting it treated with electrolysis/shaving it. I'm more into the math and science area. But at the same time, I'm not very hairy anywhere else. I also used to love cheer and dance in high school. I don't have a deep voice at all, and my period is normal. Not to brag but a lot of people say I'm pretty, even the prettiest girl they've ever seen, and I get hit on a lot. But idk... All of this stuff is scaring me. Am I normal?? Lol

Those aren't guy characteristics. Tons of girls love video games and math and science (I am one of them), there are plenty of girls with fast metabolisms, and contrary to what the media says girls grow hair in all those places too.I think the real problem you are having is insecurity with who you are as a person. I promise you but the world is full of girls who are just like you described yourself, but it is the media who makes it seem like that's not true. Just embrace who you are, imperfections and all.

  • I don't see any guy character in you. You sound quite normal. What you have for the hair problem is acceptable. You need not worry unless you are sexually attracted by females.
  • Very normal. All girls have at least 17 different body issues. Hair is one of yours and you are getting that treated. If guys are approaching you, whatever you are doing is working so continue
