Is it unhealthy to only eat 20-40 calories a day?

It's all soup, so it's not like it's just a cracker. I just really need to loose some weight fast. I was at 96lb and I think I gained 5lb and I need to be at 90lb. I'm 15 and 5'3, so I'm starting to look chunky. I NEED this gone. I used to only eat that much, but then I went to a camp where they made me eat three full meals a day, and now I'm getting back to routine. Is it unhealthy though? I work out too, not too much, it's 165 crunches, 55 sit-ups, 35 squats, 1 1/2 minute plank, 1 minute wall sit, so it's not much. Plus i ride my bike everywhere for hours every day except when I'm in a auto immune flair, I also walk and run everywhere too.

How to Lose Weight and Kick Start Your Metabolism

Recommended Answer:

Yes that's unhealthy, and whats worse is you're going to put on any weight as soon as you eat again. Why you ask? Your body will go into survival mode, so as soon as you ingest anything, it's going to turn it to body fat and store it for energy later. This is because it thinks biologically, and assumes you're in some sort of famine type scenario and will do anything it can to preserve itself. If you want to exercise, EAT healthy foods, drink only water, get your 8 hours of sleep and exercise, both cardio and light weight training (weight training really burns fat - and continues to burn fat after you stop exercising). All 3 of those things are important, weight loss isn't an overnight thing either it takes time to lose weight healthily.
