What's the best way to get into shape if I don't have money for a gym?

I'm 5'8 and 215 pounds. I'm 30 years old and I'm wondering what best way to get into shape is if I can't afford a gym membership. What should my diet be? I don't really know very much about nutrition except that fast food and sugar make people fat. Where can I get dietary advice on weight loss? Thank you

How to Lose Baby Weight After Two Years

Recommended Answer:

Jog outside. No fast food, no greasy food, no sugary drinks. Drink water before and after meals. When I diet I allow myself one day out the week where allow myself to pig out. There's a bunch of home workouts on youtube to look at. Good luck!!

Other Answers:

  • Do simple workouts at home such as pushups, crunches, sit-ups, pull-ups, and perhaps get some dumbbells so you can do curl ups, etc.
  • Walking and running. All you need is a pair of shoes. Also, count your calories using an app or website. This is what helped me lose weight.
  • loseit.com monitor your caloric intake, and get off your butt and run, speed walk, do push ups, sit ups... ANYTHING besides sit on your butt and eat.
  • running, cycling is a good way to get in shape with some home workouts (push-ups, sit-ups...ect) I speak from previous experiences
  • run around your neighborhood!look up blogilates on youtube. i know alot of people who look at her videos
