Will running cross country get me a flat stomach?

I am skinny but i don't have a flat stomach, i'm going to do cross country this year and i was wondering if it will give me a flat stomach. I want to know what i should i eat and what shouldn't i eat. If you're a runner don't you have to eat more carbs also?

A lot of the cardio that you're going to do will burn a lot of fat, yes. However, eating write is often the hardest and difficult part for people. I suggest going on Google and searching the right things to eat when you're a long distance runner. (Or when you're just trying to lose belly fat in general.) I've been told carbohydrates are good for runners because of the energy you're going to need, but there's a fine line people cross between enough and too many.
