Did you gain weight on the Depo-Provera birth control shot?

I read that one of the side effects of the birth control shot is weight gain. Before I went on the Depo-Provera shot I weighed 108 lbs but now I'm at 150 lbs even with diet and exercise! So I'm discontinuing the shot. If anyone has gained weight from the shot, how did you lose it afterwards?

I too gained weight not too mention the headaches, depression, fatigue, ect...... and ive been off of depo for about 5 years now and i am still struggling with getting the weight off. This poison should be injected into those who made it.
