- There are some great (free) online programs and apps that can help you determine how many calories you burndoing everyday activities - you can also track your diet so you know your balance of kcals in vs kcals out. You could also wear a heart rate monitor at work to more accurately track that. Again, some great programs to input your stats to get a better idea of how many kcals youre burning. But my suggestion is to check out an app like MyFitnessPal or the like and try it out for a week or so.
