If I start running, what's recommended?

I want to see results, I want to lose weight. I'm still not sure if I will be able to do it, but what do I need to do?How often a week? How much distance in miles each day?I would probably work better with distance because I don't run fast, if I know I have to run farther, I'll try to maintain a pace the whole time and try to finish. Losing weight is hard for me, I'm hoping that if I run I will be able to lose something. I would like to continue until I reach my ultimate goal of 120-130 pounds, and I weigh 153 lbs right now, and I'm 5'3.

How to Use Free Weights to Lose Weight

What I suggest you need to do is adjust your diet, it is 85% of weight loss. Since you are asking about running, the facts are that there are 3500 calories in a pound of fat and your burn 100 calories running a mile, thus to lose a pound you need to run 35 miles and to lose the 23-33 pounds you want to you need to run 805-1155 miles. To start I would suggest running 4-6 days a week for 30 minutes, however far you run in 30 minutes is fine, 2 to 3 miles, more or less. Good luck!
