would walking help me lose fat?

I am going on holiday soon and knowing my family we would be walking a lot (5/6 hours min) so I am wondering if I could lose fat by walking a lot. I know I need to diet as well so I know I would have to eat less then I normally do but that's going to be alight for me as I know I won't be eating much in the place I'll be going to.

How to Lose Weight Fast by Not Eating

Recommended Answer:

It doesnt have to be fast walking at all.ANY walking is good, just regular walking also.Your body needs calories to walk also. So justWalk for 5 to 6 hours and try to eat healthy soNo junkfood or soda and you should be heading To a slimmer version of you when you come home again.

Other Answers:

  • Walking does help but it has to be fast walking....
  • As long as you get your heart rate going.
  • waling is a great way of burning calories and using up your body's fat stores- have a great holiday and don't overeat to compensate for the number of calories you burn walking!
  • yes of course it will surely burn excessive fat because while long walks and exercise we need energy and fat cells burn out to provide us energy :)
  • Fat loss would be negligible even at that amount of walking regardless of the speed. The key to fat loss is continuing to exercise over a long period of time and a common sense approach to food.
