How to Lose Gained Weight After Bariatric Surgery
Recommended Answer:
Walks at lunch, jogs at lunch, go to the gym at lunch. Plenty of ways. Take a walk every 30 minutes to an hour. Even if it's getting up to get a drink or go to the bathroom. Don't eat when you shouldn't be. If you are always truly hungry then that means you aren't eating foods that keep you full, so you are likely eating very unhealthy foods. You need to workout more than just on the weekends too, and time isn't an excuse. I know surgeons who work 100 hours a week and still workout nearly daily. Sleep, exercise, and eating are most important. Taking an extra class or working an extra 10 hours a week is less important that being healthy. -ConnorOther Answers:
- I'm a software engineer who works petty long hours but I almost always mange to hit the gym at 6:00 am for an hour of high intensity workouts of lifting and/or running. I try to go 5 days a week but usually only make 4....just set your alarm for 5:00...roll out of bed, drink a preworkout drink to get you cranked then roll.
- Drink lots of water, it will help with your feelings of hunger. Take short 10 minute or so walks when you can, even if its just up and down the hall (stairs are even better). Don't take elevators or escalators, always use the stairs. Workout, if you want, when possible. And eat healthy foods if the urge to eat is too much!
- With a desk job and no time for work outs, it's almost impossible to give advice. Just keep your eating schedule, cut down on carbs, no sugar, no junk food, no sodas (too much sugar and bloat badly). Try to get at least a 20 minute brisk walk a day in. Could you at least get in tiny walks during the day, after all it is not good for your circulation to sit 8 hours. I've been there, but can honestly not give you concrete advice; eventhough I was in the same boat, LOL.Just do the best you can and not sit constantly (I'm thinking more along health reasons instead of weight) >3
