Is losing 25 pounds in 3 weeks too much?

I started at 314 and I'm now at 289 and lost 25 pounds in 3 weeks. I notice that I'm able to fit in some pants and I feel ok. I have been drinking plenty of water and have been swimming this whole time.

Way to go! But I think this is something you should discuss with a doctor. Generally the literature says not to lose more than 3 pounds a week, but I'm not sure if that really applies in cases of larger people with a lot more weight to lose. I do think, though, that if you lose too much weight too fast, you're going to have some issues with loose skin.But regardless, well done! You should be very proud of yourself!
