Is she wormed and 100% healthy otherwise and are you feeding a proper amount?Vet check needed for health check, not anyone online or yourselfOther Answers:
- Has she been tested for worms? If she has none, try a tube of NurtiCal, a calorie paste used to put weight on dogs, just feed an inch or two the the paste daily and it should help get some weight on her. It's available in pet stores.
- In addition to having your dog wormed, have them check for tapeworms. The wormer you get at the vet doesn't work on them. I had a rescue lab that was very skinny when I got him, took him to the vet 3 days after I got him home, they gave me wormer to use in 2 doses. I was feeding him a high quality food and he just didn't gain, then after 3 weeks i saw the worms in his stool. A special pill for tapeworms and he started to gain weight.
