will i gain weight today if i ate potatoes and rice?

ive been on a diet and lost 10 lbs. i didn't completely cut out carbs i just have 1 serving a day ( either potatoes or white rice) do u think ill gain weight today from eating them both? please dont be rude

  • No, I don't think you will gain weight by eating a potato or white rice each day. I know a lot of diets out there that focus on high protein would tell you to cut those out completely while you are trying to lose weight but if you can't live without 1 serving per day, I honestly don't think it will cause you to gain weight. Have you tried switching to a sweet potato or brown rice just for the extra nutrients vs the white foods? Good luck!

How to gain weight (I'm a girl)?

I'm a 14 year old girl, 5'5", and everyone tells me I'm too skinny. I guess I am skinny, cause I only weigh around 90 pounds on a good day. Sometimes even 87. I really want to gain weight so that I can fit into more clothes and feel better about myself. I tried eating a whole lot, but I only gained like 2 pounds because I have a fast metabolism. I am also a healthy ovo-vegetarian, which means I don't eat meat, cheese, milk, high fructose corn syrup, any GMO's (genetically modified organisms), aspartame, even enriched flour. So it's hard for me to gain weight by just eating bread, fruit, veggies, granola, and eggs. Any tips on how to gain weight? My goal is 100 pounds by the end of the year. Thanks <3

I had the same problem. I couldn't gain weight at all. I just started eating like a pig and lifting weights. It helped me move up from 112 to 130. Having a fast metabolism is very annoying when you're trying to gain weight. You may talk to a doctor, if your metabolism is too fast, then it's life.threatening. it's called an overactive metabolism if I remember right. You can't gain weight quickly by not eating meat and dairy products. They help you gain the most weight. I'd say that your diet is the biggest problem with your low weight. Anyways, if you eat a lot right before you sleep, it helps you gain weight. Some people say to eat junk food, that's not a great thing to do. There is good weight, and bad weight. One if from healthy food such as meats, breads, dairy, ans vegetables, and the other is from soda and junk food.

Tons! So love it. People that tell you that you're too skinny can kiss off. They're probably mad cause they aren't your size. I can fit all my clothes, thank God. But just be happy with who you are
