How can I gain weight?

I'm a 17 years old girl, I weigh 95 pounds (or 43 kilos) and I'm 161 cm tall. I calculated my BMI and it's 16.8 : which is pretty underweight. I have been the same weight for four years, I mean I'm getting taller - I'm just not gaining weight which is weird. I mean aren't you supposed to get taller and fatter. My body and face are really bone-y and I really want to gain weight in a healthy way.

Okay, so my older brother bet me that if I lose 25 pounds by November 1st, I get $100 bucks. If he gets 25 then I pay him $100. How can I do this?!?! I want to get in better shape, but right now I have a hurt knee and can't walk very well, an will have surgery in the next couple weeks.
