How to Lose Weight Fast- With the Situation I'm in?

Here's my situation:I am extremely overweight. 80 pounds overweight, if not more. I don't look it though, people say I look fit--- but I'm seriously not. I weigh about 205, and my goal is 125. Mind you, I'm a 13 year old girl who is only 5' 5".I can't go to the doctor's and ask them for advice because I cry or tear up when they tell me I'm overweight and I need to lose weight. They give me no help.I wanted to become bulimic but a good friend of mine talked me out of it. I wouldn't dare go there.I know drinking about (8?) bottles of water a day is very healthy, but I don't HAVE 8 bottles of water.I know exercising and eating fruits and veggies is the way to go, but I don't have any fruits or vegetables whatsoever. None in my fridge, no canned veggies, no fruits, etc. Just junk!I know exercising is a good thing to do but I just can't seem to get myself into the habit. I exercised for 2 days in a row, and I felt great, but pizza and cookies showed up the next day and I just couldn't say no. Then I end up regretting it all over again. When I do try to exercise, of course my whole family is always home, and I get laughed at for doing funny moves, and I get told that I'm never going to make it, and what's the point. What I weigh now is the most I've ever weighed, and all I ask is for some strategies for exercising, or eating, because my entire family is overweight and I want to change that. I was just told that I eat way too much, and that I'm overweight, and over-doing it, so here I am, in the bathroom, crying my eyes out and trying to think of a solution.I'm very excited to say that my aunt is buying a workout program for my birthday, but that is in a month. I don't want to wait a month to get motivated. Also, how do I know I will start eating healthy?I just need some positive answers, some links to FREE exercises, easy, for beginners... Something that helps me lose some type of weight. Anything helps. Thank you!Wow... you guys, I am reading all these answers. Not sure if I can pick a Best Answer, because you're all VERY SWEET! Thank you for the solutions, I am so negative to myself that I didn't think I had any. You are all great... If my life changes around you can all thank yourselves :)

You are suffering mild depression brought about by the need to look attractive to BOYS! When you are depressed you eat more and it could spiral down into to severe depression (constant crying, bulimia). But do not touch antidepressants! The cure for your depression and weight problem can be summarized in four letters WALK! Michael Moore stumbled on this simple remedy that many of us discovered already knew: “Quit trying to be something you're not, be happy with the life you've been given, and just go for a pleasant walk outside.” https://www.facebook.com/mmflint/posts/10151165307981857Best wishes.

  • First of all, just leave junk food. And in the morning, when your stomach is empty drink a glass of lukewarm water with lemon juice in it. And don't eat anything for 1 hour. Seriously, this works. Drink this regularly for 3 months, without skipping a single day. After 3 months, you'll start reducing your weight very fastly. Just try this :)
  • lol, 205lbs for a 13 years old?! im not trying to be offensive but you and me are somehow alike. I am over weight in 5-7 grade and the only reason i am 119lbs in 9 grade right now is because that i am growing. your body is going to expand when you grow up meaning that when you grow taller your body will grow smaller. i also recommend u to limit about 2 pizza a day and that you should try out cross country or track and field and try hard in PE. Even though you are over weight doesn't mean you are gonna be like that the rest of your life. I believe that you will accomplish your goal even though you dont believe in your self.
  • Ok, so let me start off by telling you that I was in your exact same spot when I was 16. My parents never bought healthy food and there was always junk in the house. I would try these half-ass attempts to lose weight and it never stayed off. Can you convince your parents to let you come with them to the store and buy some healthy foods that you like to eat? Also, tell your parents that it would really help you if they stopped buying so much junk to tempt you. Some healthy snacks/meals that you can start with to help you lose some weight: Plain oatmeal with a little bit of cinnamon and a piece of fruit and one cup of plain nonfat yogurt, bananas, apples, oranges, baby carrots, lean turkey meat on whole wheat pita bread with mustard, brown rice, spinach, arugula, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, light vinaigrette dressing, sugar free popsicles, small pieces of dark chocolate. As far as exercise goes, take a walk after dinner and when you can walk a mile easily, start jogging for part of the mile. Then eventually, you should be able to run a whole mile if you keep increasing your jogging intervals--look into the Couch to 5K program for a concrete plan. Also, I have found that sparkpeople is a great online group that is free that has a lot of exercises and diet plans for you to look at. Hope that helps

Which virtual schools offer junior college classes for high school students?

I'm in grade 10. This is my first year of doing a virtual school. I was thinking about choosing Connections Academy but I have no clue if they offer junior college classes. I want to go straight to a 4-year university when I graduate. Do you get college credits from AP classes? If yes, would that be considered a junior college class? I'm a bit confused on this. Also, if you're taking any junior college classes online, how many classes are you taking all together? What's classes are you taking? Please tell me about some good, accredited online schools that offer these classes? Thanks so much in advance.

I'll start by saying that I am utterly lost by what you mean by junior college classes. In high school, there are usually 3 types of courses. The first is standard courses which are taught at a normal pace and at a normal level. Sometimes these are called College prepatory courses. The second is "Honors" level which is taught at a slightly faster pace and covers more content. This will also give you a slight boost to your weighted GPA. The third designation is "AP" or Advanced Placement which are special types of courses that can POTENTIALLY be used for college credit. AP courses are typically quite difficult and are supposedly taught at a college level although it varies from course to course and school to school. AP courses will give you a larger boost to your weighted GPA. At the end of the year, you will need to take a test known as an AP Exam. The exam is scored on a 0-5 scale. If you score a 4, or a 5 you will be eligible to test out of certain courses. For example, if you take AP English Literature and Composition, and score well on the exam, you often will not have to take the English pre-requisite general education course that most colleges force you to take in your freshman year.Another option is dual enrollment courses. These courses you take at a community college while still being in high school. This gives you college credit, if your eventual college accepts these credits. Some people prefer this option but you will not be able to find this online. As for online schools, many schools offer regular, honors, and AP courses. Schools such as K12, Connections Academy, Laurel Springs, George Washington University Online High School, and Keystone are some popular options. Wherever you decide to go, make sure the school is regionally accredited by one of the six educational accrediting agencies in the United States."Also, if you're taking any junior college classes online, how many classes are you taking all together? What's classes are you taking?" I'm not sure what you mean by this question. If you take an online class, then that is one class. You can take as many classes as you want. Assuming you are planning on only using an online high school, I would suggest you take between 5 and 8 credits worth of courses. This would be equivalent to 5 to 8 full year courses. If I misunderstood your question or you have additional questions feel free to email me at rsullivan8900@gmail.com and I'd be happy to help. I go to an online school so I know quite a bit about it.
