Will riding an exercise bike while on my laptop help me loose weight?

I'm talking about one of those indoor bikes that stand in place while you ride away.I thought since I'm on my laptop a lot, I could actually lose some weight by doing this all day, just peddling, nothing intense though. Also I'm not hoping to lose pounds, but maybe if I do this for a few hours I could lose a pound? What do you think?I'm not cheating my way out of anything? I was just wondering if it would make any difference in my weight, so stop being an a**wipe. I'm also not "devoted" to loosing any weight, it's more like a "I just thought it would be nice to" kind of thing.@first answer.

How to Fast and Lose Weight Safely

Recommended Answer:

If you are just slowly peddling along, that's not going to burn much. However, if you set a brisk pace that will get your heart rate up, you burn about 300-500 calories/hour.

  • No.Why don't you try acting like an adult, and devote your conscious effort towards a goal instead of cheating your way out of it?I can tell mummie and daddie have pampered you VERY diligently haven't they?Fitness/Weight management is a commitment, your little loop hole schemes will only lead to depression, confusion, anxiety, and self hatred.Try learning about nutrition and how to fuel the body efficiently for fat loss. Then you won't have to worry about "riding your bike, while on your laptop."
  • Minimal amount of calories honestly. You'd probably need to do it for like 8 hours to get enough for one days workout... Go super fast if you want to burn calories.
