How much do carbs affect weight loss? (10 points)?

So I began running about 4-6 miles a day and stopped eating junk food to lose about ten pounds (I am aiming to start modeling at some point so I want to be in the best shape possible) but I still eat pasta about once or twice a week. I was just curious is this killing my diet? I am also a vegetarian so any suggestions for meals would be great! What are some foods that help weight loss along?

How to Lose Weight When You Have Hypothyroidism

Recommended Answer:

carbs dont affect weight loss at all. total intake of calories decide whether or not you'll lose weight. you can eat as many carbs/fat/protein as you want, as long as you're eating at a caloric deficit, you WILL lose weightdont bother with that whole eat 5-6 meals a day bs. all of that is a scam. you dont even have to eat healthy. total calories matter more than anything

  • Oh the dreaded concerns of weight loss and how it's done! Ill tell you the biggest mistake people make in trying to lose weight is by counting calories!! It doesn't matter as much as you'd think. The biggest part about a healthy diet is what exactly it is you're eating and most of all, how MUCH you're eating! You have to make sure that when you eat you eat moderate amounts in your meal and you HAVE to balance out your carbohydrates, your protein (in your case is a bit harder but any meat substitute with protein, even protein shakes!) and your fats. If you eat in moderate portions and eat each of those categories in the same amount it will work wonders. The other important thing to remember is to eat those moderately sized meals but also eat a small healthy snack in between each meal!!! This is the biggest mistake people make because after a couple hours your food digestion slows and you need a small snack to keep your digestion and metabolism going!! Otherwise if you go several hours between eating your body worrys it won't get any food and starts storing fat!! Just follow all of that and I PROMISE it will help! And good luck!
