How to Create a Meal Plan to Lose Weight
Recommended Answer:
As a 13 year old weighing approx 125lbs based on a BMI calculation you are not significantly overweight. A person of your respective age and height should be at a weight range somewhere between the 100-120 category. Not to fret there are many ways someone your age can lose weight and feel better/ healthier overall, some ways are...- If your not into being physically active, try and get at the very minimum at least an hour of exercise each day however you want to do it, walk your dog, ride a bike, go for a swim, go for a hike, jog, skip, etc.- Eat healthy, avoid sugary things ie. ice cream, candy, chips, bars sugary juices and sodas etc. Stick to natural home cooked meals and snacks. If you can microwave it chances are its not healthy. Good meals and snacks consist of fruits vegetables whole grains unprocessed meats etc. Try not to buy your lunches at school or your dinners at restaurants.- Join a sport or club. School sports are very worthwhile for staying healthy, however you can also join sports/clubs within your community like soccer, karate, boxing, etc.Whatever you try and do to be healthier stick to it! not only is having a few extra pounds on unappealing for your own self image.. it can result in lack of self confidence, depression and often leads to obesity later in life.Other Answers:

- In all honesty you don't need to lose weight, but if you want to, do it healthily. September 5th is in less than a month so I'll tell you straight up: you're aren't going to lose ten pounds that fast. Actually it's about 3 weeks from now, and the best rate to lose weight at is about 1-2 pounds a week. So at most you can lose 6. Secondly, cut out junk food. I know everybody says that, but you'll see a difference. It might suck, and you might hate whatever you're eating, but weigh the benefits of 5 seconds of good taste versus having an awesome body. Junk food really isn't worth it. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day, and to drink that much, you probably won't have much else besides water. If you hate the taste of water (I personally am not very fond of it haha) then use crystal light or those little packets for flavoured water. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Baby carrots are awesome for snacks, kiwis are delicious, low fat yogourt, I don't know. Get creative. Look up healthy recipes for foods you like. Always know what you're eating, know if it's good for you first. Also, if you're really picky, this website has "healthified" versions of junk food, so it tastes and looks delicious but its super low calorie. She shows you how to make it and everything, I've made a few of these and it's awesome: http://www.blogilates.com/cce-fbFinally, exercise. Get active. Go for a jog. Join a sports group. Anything you like, the possibilities are endless. Pilates and yoga are pretty popular, and you can find videos on how to do them. Actually the website I previously mentioned does pilates videos too so you can give that a go if you want. (Just for the record I'm not endorsed by them or trying to advertise, I just think she's awesome lol). Jump roping burns a ton of calories too.Hope this helps! :)
- Run. Run! RUN! the best way to lose weight is a good run every morning before school once it starts or every morning when you wake up during the summer. For someone weighing 120 lbs you can burn 86 calories per mile running. Eat exclusively non-processed foods do at least an hour of other exercise throughout the day. don't eat much at dinner and lunch. try protein shakes as meal substitutes. NEVER EVER LET YOURSELF BE TEMPTED BY JUNK FOOD! stick to the main meals and don't eat outside of them or after 7 at night (if possible). Good luck and I wish you lots of pounds off!
