How to Lower Cortisol Levels and Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:

Stretch marks are pretty much permanent, but as young as you are you probably won't wind up with flabby skin. At 14 you're also not quite done growing yet, so some of the weight will redistribute and you'll look more slender at 16, 18, 20 years old even if you're the same weight you are now (or want to be).And since you're still growing, you don't want to restrict calories TOO much, especially if you're planning to increase the amount of exercise you're doing. Burning 400 cals would require some pretty vigorous exercise. Aim for at least 1600-1800 minimum. If you work your body too hard on too little food then you'll put yourself into starvation mode, which messes up your metabolism and leaves you feeling pretty awful.

Other Answers:

  • You won't have flabby skin. I highly doubt that. And 1200 calories is too little!!! Just eat HEALTHY! That's all you need! Eat healthy and exercise. Cheers!
  • My 17 year old daughter was eating around 400-700 calories a day. She lost 5.6lb in just over a week. She became anorexic. She went from 160lb to 100lb in a few months. She did not get any flabby skin or stretch marks.
