What machines are best at the gym for burning fat besides the treadmill?

What machines are best to use besides the treadmill to burn fat and cardio. I already use the treadmill but I want to incorporate other machines. I want to lose 50 pounds and then start toning. Also, is it bad if you work hard but don't sweat? My gym is always so cold and I find it hard to break a sweat. (Btw, I am dieting so I know that's apart of losing weight)
