Is it alright to eat meat and fish when trying to lose weight?

I am 10 kg or 20 pounds overweight. I am trying to lose weight. I love fish and meat, eat a lot of it. Is it alright to eat meat and fish when trying to lose weight?

  • Thanks for giving me opperunity to help you, I think that take a proper diet but you can take limited meat and fish if you want lose weight and do a physical to mentally fit and healthy.
  • Just try to stay away from some of the real fatty meats. Most any kind of fish is good for you, chicken even lean steak. I would stay away from Bacon and Ham and that sort of higher salt and higher fat type meats. Try to do more Vegetarian meals, maybe try to do two Vegetarian meals and one meal with meat. You can even use eggs as a Veggie meal.
  • Meat and fish is good for you, even when dieting. It's all the fatty sauces and marinades that is usually to blame, that and over-eating. You shouldn't eat too much red meat, but once in a while is fine. Try to cut off the fat though (after you have cooked it, or else it just gets dry :p)
