So I'm 14 years old and I'm overweight. I weigh 150 pounds and my height is 5 feet and 4 inches. I'm planning to hit the gym in a couple of months to lose weight and get muscles and get stronger. But I'm afraid that i'ts gonna stop me from growing. And i don't want that. I want to be tall. So do you guys think it will stop me from growing? Should I go to the gym or not?

exercising has nothing to do with growth. I wouldn't worry about growth in inches. What will happen is that your muscles will grow and you will develop weight because of muscles, not too much weight. But as for it stopping your growth, don't worry.
