Could I Have Diabetes?

I have been more thirsty than normal lately and decided to look up why this could be. I found that it is a symptom of diabetes and a couple weeks ago my mom asked me to look up diabetes because it runs in our family and she wanted to know more about it. Lately, I have been really thirsty, have had a reoccurring headache, and lost 4 pounds out of nowhere. I'm worried about type 1 diabetes, I wouldn't have type 2 diabetes. Thank you.

Look for: increased thirst and frequent urination, extreme hunger, weight loss, blurred vision/dizziness, or fatigue/Irritability or unusual behavior. Also, yeast infections in girls and stomach cramps (thats the one no one mentions and is ususally on the bottom of the list but the worst one I had).But just increased thirst could be attributed to hot weather, & working out hard or growing.
